The Bothy at Balnakeilly is in a truly tranquil place, set up a sweeping driveway in beautiful grounds complete with a forest. The Bothy is well equipped with a large super king room and a twin room - perfect for up to four people. The decor is very much like the estate house Balnakeilly House which sits just down from the Bothy. The Bothy has a living room with roaring wood burner, TV (showing Netflix) and a dining table. The kitchen is well equipped with a cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, crockery and cutlery. There is also a good size shower room with lovely fluffy towels. We have private parking for up to two cars. The Bothy is all on one level, with two small steps up into the kitchen and bathroom. Travel cots can be provided on request. I am certain you will love The Bothy, Pitlochry and the Scottish Highlands!!

Hi, I'm Steph. I've been living in Pitlochry since Summer 2018. I visited family here a year earlier and absolutely fell in love with the area. When the opportunity arose to move here it was a no-brainer! I actually live next door to The Bothy at Balnakeilly, so if you need anything, or want some local advice then I'll never be too far away. Pitlochry town is only a 15/20 min walk down the hill and to drive would be less than five minutes. There is a lovely, traditional pub (The Moulin) at the bottom of the driveway, in winter you will find a roaring fire and in summer plenty of outdoor seating. For dining you have so many places to choose from The Old Mill Inn provides beautiful food and at the weekends is great for live music, Port-Na-Craig serves delicious food all day.
