The Harcourt Hotel is situated in a great location, a few minutes to the picturesque Harbour, high street shops and Sea front. An ideal place for those taking the boat to Lundy Island or for those wanting to explore Woolacombe and Exmoor. We endeavour to accommodate your wishes, wherever possible and hope that as we are a small family run business we can offer the 'personal' touch that the larger hotels cannot. All rooms are shower ensuite, with toiletries. All have beverage making facilities. We are happy to advise on the many restaurants that the town has to offer, accommodating all budgets.We have a great licensed bar, (serving a selection of draught beer,wines and spirits),a games room and an outside veranda, all overlooking Capstone hill, with sea views. Our Full English breakfast, made with local produce, is included at no extra cost and we have a variety of options available. We cater for vegetarians and other special dietary requirements. (Please note, we are situated over four floors, with no lift, so please advise of any mobility issues when booking. My name is Kirsty and my family have been at the hotel for twenty six years. I took over in 2001, when my father passed away. I love being a hotelier, it is very hard work, but very rewarding. I meet some great new people every year, who have gone on to be friends of mine. At the Harcourt, we are very relaxed, offering a 'home from home' environment. I do my best to accommodate everyone's wishes and always try to ensure that my guests are happy.

We are situated in the heart of Ilfracombe. A short stroll to the Harbour, Shops and Seafront.Fore street is the oldest street in town and we are lucky that it has many great eateries. The High street, with its banks, Chemists and shops is just a two minute walk.The Lundy sailing point is approx a five minute walk away, where you alos be able to view Damien Hirst's 'Verity' statue. Ilfracombe is a great base for exploring the stunning North Devon coastline, with many wonderful beaches nearby and many of the attractions that North Devon has to offer.The town is surrounded by beautiful countryside and is ideally situated to visit Exmoor.
