I also make the effort to come back for some of the world class events staged in Edinburgh such as the Edinburgh International Fringe Festival and 6 nations Rugby matches.

The Haymarket area is a great spot with some great restaurants (lots of variety!) and bars with character nearby. Its also very close to Princes st, EICC, Murrayfield & Tynecastle stadiums, Lycium and Kings theatres, Water of Leith, the lovely Dean Village and the beautiful New Town area.
