Heywood Hall is situated along the Staffordshire Way, close to the end of the Limestone Way. Derby is 20 miles from the building, and Nottingham can also be reached in less than an hour by car. Stoke-on-Trent can be reached in 25 minutes’ drive.
A lovely family manor house built in 1885, with apartments adjoining. A stream runs in front of the property , which is delightful in the summer. It stands adjacent to the disused Churnet Valley railway which is a beautiful walking route into Dimmingsdale and the Staffordshire Way. The garden is a pretty courtyard where visitors can relax, and enjoy the hot tub and sauna.

Denstone has a wealth of activities to offer: 1. Walking along the Staffordshire way, in Dimmingsdale and finding the Chained Oak. the Staffordshire Peak District is right on the doorstep. 2. Stoke on Trent with is Pottery heritage is within 20 minutes from us. 3. Trentham Gardens and the Monkey Forest next door with Aerial Extreme are 20 minutes away. 4. Ski slope in Stoke, Ice skating and bowling in Uttoxeter. 5. Rudyard lake, Carsington Water (30 minutes) are great for water sports Rudyard lake also has a narrow gauge railway. 6. Manifold Valley, Tissington trail, (20 minutes ) Churnet Valley disused railway track alongside Heywood Hall are all great for cycling. 7. Chatsworth House, Sudbury Hall, Kedleston Hall, Calke Abbey , Stately homes all wine 40 minutes drive. 8. Horse Racing: Uttoxeter Racecourse 10 minutes drive.
