High Grange Cottages are set in a private courtyard with established hedging to provide private seating areas for each cottage. The grounds include a meadow field for guests to enjoy walks around with seating in the small orchard. The views from this area are simply beautiful.

We have recently taken over this special place and love having guests around to enjoy it with us. Our interests are the great outdoors and we enjoy setting off on adventures in our camper van when we have time. Exploring the UK and all it's wonders is what we enjoy most, plus sending time with our family. Lisa's mum Judith also lives on site and so it really is a family affair at High Grange.

High Grange is located between two small villages, Exelby and Burneston. Both of these have wonderful pubs within walking distance, offering great food. The pub in Exelby is community run and well suported. Bedale is only a short 5 minute drive away and is a bustling market town, with lots of small, local traders. The other Dales towns of Northallerton, Leyburn, Richmond, Ripon and Thirsk are all within 20-30 minutes drive of the Cottages, so there is plenty for everyone to do on the doorstep.
