When we began work on High Oaks Grange in 2015, we knew we were creating something special. There was so much untapped potential in the manor house, the stone cottages and the woodland lodges, so we made it our mission to transform the old estate into the luxurious holiday destination you see today. The estate was totally renovated, and we added three exclusively designed glamping pods. Throughout High Oaks Grange we’ve blended classic countryside style with a modern touch. There are inviting fireplaces, elegant furnishings and thoughtful decor across all our properties, which contain numerous hi-tech additions. You’ll find Smart TVs, high speed wifi, contemporary gaming systems and many more modern conveniences here. We have also ensured that each property has a luxurious outdoor space. The Grange boasts an alfresco dining area and a blissful 18-foot swim spa. Every cottage and lodge has its own hot tub, and the glamping pods each have outdoor decking and a bbq. So whether our guests are seeking the grandeur of The Grange, the idyllic tranquility of a cottage or woodland lodge, or the charming uniqueness of a glamping holiday, we’ve truly got something for everyone.
The Palmer family has been in the hospitality business for over 60 years, running a succession of popular holiday destinations on the Yorkshire coast. Our reputation for outstanding accommodation and exceptional customer care has ensured our continuing success in the hospitality sector, but we always strive to reach even greater standards. That’s why we jumped at the chance to acquire the High Oaks Grange estate when it became available. We had never undertaken such a large project before, and we were excited to bring a uniquely luxurious calibre of self-catering accommodation to the North York Moors. Our team is close-knit and family-based, and has been for the past three generations. Our guests often comment on our highly personal approach to hospitality; we like to make each and every person feel at home. We’re sure this will be a continuing theme at High Oaks Grange, where we have been able to let our creativity run wild, making each room as individual as the guests who will be staying there. As a family and as a company, we are thrilled to be bringing another outstanding holiday destination to the beautiful county of Yorkshire.
