Featuring a solid pine dining table and 5 chairs, a cooker, microwave, kettle and toaster, a large fridge freezer, The Living Area- nice size room containing a TV with Freesat, Electric fire, settee and a coffee table. It has been nicely decorated with a modern decor and provides a comfortable place to relax during your stay. Front Bedroom-is a nice spacious room with great amenities. It features a beautiful bay window and comes with a double bed, bedside table with lamp small hand wash basin, a blanket box and a chest of drawers 2nd Bedroom has been pleasantly decorated, 3 single beds with 2 bedside tables and lamps and a wardrobe The bathroom is also nicely decorated with toilet, wash basing and shower. There is a small sitting area at the back which holds the sun until late afternoon, if you sun worship you can go to the front of the property late afternoon. I bought High Waves in 2003, it was an existing Holiday Business which I ran as a Holiday Business until 2008 and I did really enjoy it and built up a large Customer following. My family needed me as they were growing up so I stopped my Holiday business and concentrate on being a Mum. I am now looking forward to building my Holiday Business back up, I know it will be as rewarding as before, I had some lovely loyal regular guests and I hope to build this up again. . I am available to meet and greet if requested and I will always be available to help with recommendations if it is your first visit to Filey. I hope you will have a lovely stay at my comfortable Holiday Home.

The Town is flush with lovely individual shops, a few gift shops, lovely boutiques and the best Chocolates I have ever tasted at Sterchi’s (they are famous throughout Yorkshire and many people travel miles to get them). There are 2 excellent Italian Restaurants I can highly recommend San Marco just a five minute walk from High Waves. Chinese take away and 2 Restaurants, 2 Indian Restaurants and the very nice Bistro on John St. with the beautiful back garden ideal for a sunny day lunch, coffee tea or a good glass of wine. There is the famous Bronte Vinery cafe just 20 yards from the apartment they do the best breakfast in town according to my guests and they own Charlottes next door who do a great Sunday lunch both with outside seating. The Buccanear also does a good Sunday lunch and its is probably the cheapest food all freshly made. If you fancy treating yourself, The White Lodge Hotel at the end of the Crescent is worth a visit for its beautiful decor and lovely coffee Barista and also outside seating with the beautiful views of the bay. The Downcliffe on the front is a lovely place for outdoor seating on a hot day with lovely lunches
