Higher Primrose Cottage has one double and a small bunk bedroom (suitable for children aged 2 - 12 years). With a cosy wood burner, Higher Primrose is a great place to come and enjoy all year around. Higher Primrose Cottage is a Grade II listed 17th century cottage situated in the heart of the pretty Devon village of Winkleigh. Steeped in history, Winkleigh was given by William the Conqueror to his wife Matilda It is the prefect base from which to explore both Dartmoor and Exmoor. Both the North Devon and North Cornish coastlines with their glorious sandy beaches are within easy reach at approx. 45 minutes away. The local pub serves delicious home cooked meals and is only a few minutes walk from the cottage. There are plenty of things to do and see.
