With so many different attractions nearby it is always difficult in deciding what you may want to do but within easy reach of your lodge is the magnificent Loch Ness, probably the most famous of all waters in the world. Wonderful Castles such as Dunrobin, Cawdor and Mey are always popular places to visit and a Day Trip to Orkney will take you to the North Coast. For nature lovers the chance to see Dolphins, Golden and White Tailed Eagles as well as our summer visiting Ospreys soaring over the lochs from late April through to September. The rivers in the area have plenty of Salmon and popular waterfalls give the best chance of seeing these returning fish in the summer and early autumn. For the more energetic, local Munros, mountains over 3000', are ready and waiting for you as well as some of the best sandy beaches in the UK. If golf is your sport, then Royal Dornoch is regarded as one of the top ten courses in the world and if you want to play golf each day you can play 7 different courses in a week and they are all within a short drive of your lodge, With so much to do and see, what are you waiting for?
