Highland Retreat is set in the beautiful Scottish Highlands within the hamlet of Dalchreichart and approximately 15 minutes drive from the banks of Loch Ness. The property is on the banks of the River Moriston and surrounded by beautiful forest. Our light, spacious modern chalet has a comfortable lounge with a flat screen t.v. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, fridge/freezer and full size stove. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. There are two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and fitted wardrobes and the second with a double bed and fitted wardrobe. Outside guests can relax on the decking and enjoy the tranquil surroundings of the Glen.

Late check-out is available upon request (prior to arrival) for an additional charge payable on arrival.

You can enjoy walking among the dramatic landscapes of the Great Glen. Loch Ness and Fort Augustus is approximately a 15 minute drive away. As Highland Retreat is situated on the banks of the River Moriston we are ideally placed for launching your own canoe from our garden or fishing in the river (by prior arrangement). Also ideally placed for walking the Munros, or enjoying cycling in the surrounding countryside. Skiing available in the Nevis Range which is around an hours drive away. The Isle of Skye is approximately 46 miles from Highland Retreat while Fort William and Inverness can be reached in just over an hour by car. As this is a rural location we suggest that any food shopping be done before arriving at the property.
