2 double and 2 twin rooms - Sleeps 8 maximum. Private parking by the entrance to the house. Enter via the hallway into the dining and open plan lounge areas with laminate flooring, This area is bright and roomy and is ideal for family and friends to socialise. Fully equipped kitchen adjacent to the dining area. There is a family bathroom as well as a second WC. Near the entrance to the Drimsynie Estate Holiday Village offering leisure, entertainment and dining with walking distance. The holiday park is open to the public on a pay-as-you-go basis. One dog welcome. There is a pet charge. Please note that there is a good housekeeping card deposit required prior to arrival. FREE copy of the Loch Goil Trails walking guidebook included in your stay. OCCUPANCY RULE: The Scottish Government (from September 2020) limits holiday homes to host single units, maximum 6 adults, no limit on children under 12. You are welcome to book at this time if you meet the criteria.
Lochgoilhead sits at the head of the fjord type Loch Goil within the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. Considered to be one of the most scenic areas in beautiful Argyll. You approach the village via single track roads through Hells Glen or Glen Mhor. Easy to reach being just over one hour from Glasgow via the shores of Loch Lomond. The village has a Post Office/Shop and a Costcutter market. The Goil Inn is open for drinks and meals and, and has entertainment most weekends. Hire boats available. This is a superb walking area and is rich in wildlife. You can fish off the jetty, hire bikes locally, and use the leisure centre which has a 25m indoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room and gym on a pay as you go basis. A good base to explore Inveraray, Oban and Glencoe. If you are new to Scotland, this is Scotland of the travel posters.
