Thank you for visiting Hillend cottages, Both of the properties Hillend cottage & the Studio in the garden are decorated to a high standard with quality furnishings , for example Hillend cottage has a Tempur King Size bed, reputedly one of the most comfortable beds in the world and I can definitely confirm this to be the case :) IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT EACH COTTAGE IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT SO REMEMBER THIS WHEN VIEWING THE GALLERY The Cottages are located within a conservation area over looking The Manifold Valley set on the edge of rugged Moorland so all types of walkers are catered for, those who simply want to meander along the flat Manifold Track or the more adventurous who prefer hiking up to the top of the nearby hills to experience the further fantastic views. The Village Pub is only 2 minutes walk and there a lots of other restaurants and Pubs within a few minutes drive, Chatsworth House & Alton Towers are amongst dozens of attractions in the area so come visit us, the Beautiful Peak District awaits you

Hello & welcome from Liza and Norman. Our interests are walking & hiking especially around the beautiful Peak District. In our spare time we enjoy a number of activities including yoga, meditation and working out at the gym. We also love to travel and visit new places meeting new people as well as spending time with family and friends.

The property is in the Peak District National Park and has a huge number of places to visit, walking and cycling paths all with stunning views. There is a Local Guide and House Manual in each of the properties giving details of where to go to eat, what to do whilst you are in the area and of course, everything that you need to know about the Cottages from how to work the heating to engaging with the entertainment systems. Each cottage has its own private Garden. Guests staying in Hillend Cottage have sole use of the rear garden. Guests staying in the studio in the garden also have a private Garden to the left hand side of the Garage which has the same wonderful views. Here you will find a "Bistro" table & chairs plus a super relaxing swing chair to sit relax and watch the world go by.
