Hinton Lodge is a detached rural cottage situated on a small rise in the middle of a picturesque valley. It overlooks beautiful views of fields leading to Salisbury Plain. This cozy cottage simply oozes character. Conveniently set on one level, it is perfect for families with young children. With its gorgeous four poster bed and peaceful location, it is also ideal for a romantic getaway or a honeymoon with a lovely log fire to keep you snuggled up on the sofa in winter. In summer, you will be able to sip a cool drink on the open veranda watching the sun setting. Ideally situated for the stones circles of Avebury and Stonehenge, Longleat House and Safari Park, the cities of Bath and Salisbury, the beautiful villages of Lacock and Castle Combe, and much more.

We have had so many lovely guests coming year after year and we hope you will feel at home too, in the comfy and cozy setting we have created, away from the stresses and strains of your normal life. The Wiltshire countryside is very peaceful, yet you are never too far from villages and towns where you can find anything you need. Come and relax by the log fire, or sit on the porch at the front watching the horses in the field.
There is so much to do in the vicinity of Hinton Lodge. You have the beautiful Cities of Bath with its Roman Baths, Circle and beautiful buildings, and Salisbury with its spectacular Cathedral. The picturesque villages of Lacock with its Abbey and Castle Combe on the edge of the Cotswolds. There are heritage sites within easy driving distance of the Stone Circles of Stonehenge and Avebury, and the adjacent Silbury Hill. Salisbury Plain is only a 10 minute drive away with outstanding walking to be had.
