With a private entrance you enter the light and airy studio apartment. It has a full kitchen with the usual appliances. A washer/dryer sits in a recess off the kitchen. You may have use of an iron and ironing board and use of a communial washing line for those who need it The seating area has a double seat sofa and a single armchair with wonderful views across the field. You have a t.v. and c.d. player with books and dvd's and cd's available for you to use. The sleeping area has a king size bed with plenty of storage for clothing. A hair dryer is also provided. A skylight above the bed for viewing the stars make a nice touch. A shower room with a sink and toilet completes the facilities.
Pam and Rich moved into Holly Hill in 1979 as newlyweds. They loved their home so much they decided to share it with others so had the apartments built in the barn in 2012. The apartments were designed to be a home from home where guests can relax in beautiful, quiet surroundings. You are invited to walk around the field and woodland, when weather permits there is seating available to enjoy some peace. In the evenings the sunset is often stunning.
The apartment lies in the beautiful Meon Valley in Hampshire. It is situated between the historic cities of Portsmouth/Southsea, Winchester and Southampton and close to the ancient villages of Wickham and Bishops Waltham. It is set in a semi rural location. The Meon Valley is close to the South Downs National Park, the New Forest, the Wayfarers Walk, the Test Valley, and the Queen Elizabeth Country Park south of Petersfield and the Isle of Wight to name just a few, for walking, cycling, horse riding and many other activities. Broadlands (home of the Mountbattens) at Romsey, Goodwood for the horse racing and motor racing, Windsor for the castle, are all within a comfortable journey time.
