Holyhead Lodge

The Holyhead Lodge is located just a 5-minute walk from Holyhead Station and 1 miles from the beach. Lodges include a private driveway with CCTV, a flat-screen TV and free parking.

Each of the lodge rooms has its own private entrance. Ironing facilities are also provided. Bathrooms include a shower, hairdryer and free toiletries.

The town centre has a selection of shops, pubs and restaurants to explore. Holyhead Ferry Port are is a 5-minute walk away, and fishing is available locally.

Information about the host

Holyhead Lodge is a 5 minute walk from the ferry and train terminal, and five minutes the other way from town where there are numerous restaurants. We are a beautiful three storey Victorian character house with the original Minton tiled hall,(opposite the cemetery so its really quiet for our guest)s. Most Sat Navs finish at the end of the road but if you come into the dead end we are the big house fourth on the left. Two of our rooms have private entrances across the courtyard from the main house, so ideal for late arrivals. New for 2017 are four more rooms all on the first floor in the house. A luxury huge double ensuite with a king size bed, and sitting area. Another ensuite double Two singles that have there own bathroom on the landing. There is also a large Jacuzzi bathroom for all guests to use on the ground floor.

Mel and I have been running the B&B for some 6 years and have just gone from strength to strength. We have been together for over thirty years and I can honestly say are well suited, we bounce off each other and really enjoy meeting people. We run the B&B alongside our Charter Boat Business so have been in the hospitality trade for a very long time (some 23 years) We have taken many guests out for four hour evening trips to look for seals and dolphins in the summer months. And we have some guests who regularly come for the weekend just to go fishing on the boat.

The neighbourhood is very quiet and peaceful, as we are in a dead end there is very little traffic along here.
