I have many years experience working in Hotels and Restaurants, and just love meeting people and making them feel welcome. I enjoy travelling and have an interest in many eclectic subjects, in the pursuit of which I have made many friends who have always made me most welcome in their countries, and some have made the trek to come stay at the Croft. Which is what I wish my guests to experience, the Croft is my home and I'm more often than not around, gardening or doing renovations. This year I have three en-suite rooms, but by this time next year I hope to offer another two rooms by converting an old stone Steading into two guest suites. Well! as they say "The best laid plans" that was pre Covid, so maybe a revised completion date for would be 2021.
Big open skies, stunning scenery enveloping a farming community braving the North Sea. Nearby is John O Groats, Castles and historic ruins and Bronze age Brochs. Famous landmarks in the doorstep such as Duncansby Stacks, Castle Mey, Dunnet Head the UK's most Northerly Point, Local Distillerys, beautiful unspoilt beaches, Ferry terminals to Orkney, and wildlife cruises.
