My houseboat is a 1970s motor yacht fully converted into a live aboard houseboat, moored in bishopthorpe ten minutes drive from York city centre. 5 minutes walk to the village with shops & buses to city centre, or if you fancy a nice walk on a sunny day it's a 1hr walk all the way along the river into York. You'll love my place because it's a very unique peaceful getaway with stunning river views. TV in the lounge with a log burner, full sized double bed,large kitchen(for a boat!)and bathroom with shower. My place is good for couples, solo adventures, business travellers, & furry friends ( pets )

I lived onboard my boat for 3 years and absolutely loved it. only moved off as I had a baby and now I love been able to let people stay on board and get to experience and enjoy boat life!
