My wife Liz and I have grown up and raised our children in Sedbergh and are constantly reminded how lucky we are to live in such a glorious part of the world. Having travelled extensively ourselves, we appreciate that when visitors book a room for the night or a holiday, they invariably have different needs to satisfy. With our experience of providing accommodation since 1982 in our Town, we have moved into providing holiday apartments in 1994 and then Bunk Barn group accommodation in 2006 so constantly aim to change and improve our provision with the changing needs of future clients. We are now aiming to offer (amongst other things) midweek wedding parties where venue, civil wedding service and accommodation can be provided over a few midweek days and where friends and family can join them in our 75 bed accommodation provision with internet facilities to keep in touch with work etc and all for a very reasonable figure when 'Average wedding costs' are compared.

Our group of six apartments are based within a beautiful stone building in the heart of the town. There are amazing views across the town to the nearby Fells and you can take pleasure in the dramatic landscapes that changes with the passing of each cloud. The apartments spacious and comfortable and are just a few minutes’ walk from the river and the center of town. Amenities Included Each apartment is equipped with essential domestic appliances, such as a microwave, fridge-freezer and dishwasher. The comfy lounge with leather sofas, flat screen television, and free WiFi access, will make you feel right at home in this self-catering accommodation. Free parking is also available to the rear of the apartments.

Neighbourhood information

We love the freedom to walk direct from our accommodations with just a short walk to some spectacular hills and vales walks. We are also blessed with being a 'hidden' gem just off the M6 Junction 37 and nestled at the foot of the Howgill Fells in a valley 'basin' just off the Lune valley. From your base here, you can visit underground treasures at Ingleton, walk the highest Mountain the England in the Lake District, see the ancient Hadrians wall separating the wild Celts from the Roman Empire and take a stroll on the largest intertidal expanse of mudflats in the Uk at Morecambe Bay with all its fantastic widlife on display.
