Hundalee House

Set within 15 acres of rural woodland and gardens, this guest house is 1.5 miles from the centre of Jedburgh. Hundalee House has free WiFi and eggs from resident hens are served in the mornings.

Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a hairdryer and bathrobes. Further features include tea and coffee making facilities and a TV.

Breakfast at Hundalee House includes a traditional cooked option or lighter choices, including a selection of cereals, fruit, fresh juice, and homemade jams and preserves, along with eggs from the resident hens.

Hundalee House is also a farm which houses sheep, chickens and dogs.

Jedburgh Abbey and Jedburgh Castle Jail & Museum are within a 5-minute drive of Hundalee House. There is free on-site parking.

Information about the host

Our home is a Historic house and has a lot of connections with the Kerr family, they are buried in the Abbey in Jedburgh, the ones that are alive now still live in Fernihurst Castle in Jedburgh

I have owned Hundalee House for 35 years and started to do B&B after we had been here for a year, I love making jam and love gardening, which is good because we have a large garden.

In Jedburgh we have the famous Abbey and Queen Mary's house where she stayed on her trip to Hermitage Castle and the Castle Jail museum where they housed a lot of famous criminals. There is a Historic walk we'll sign posted around the town pointing out all the points of interest.
