There are homegrown tomatoes in the summer and honey from our own bees, bacon and sausages from Wellington's award winning butcher and free range eggs from a local farm. We have three black Labradors and a terrier, who are kept in their own area of the house but are available for cuddles if so desired!
Wellington is 2 miles from junction 26 of the M5 and surrounded by areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The town nestles in the foothills of the Blackdown Hills, equal distance from north and south coastlines. Close to Exmoor and the Quantock Hills, which offer glorious views and walks in areas of wildness and peace. Undulating farmland, rocky Jarassic coastline, deeply wooded Combes and charming villages all lie within this specially conserved landscape. Wellington is a small rural market town offering excellent facilities; Resturants, Tea rooms, Pubs, Cafes, Many individual shops, Art Deco Cinema, Sports Centre with Pool,Museum, Arts Centre and numerous supermarkets. The house is a 5/10 minute walk into the centre of town, close to fields and countryside walks. The town is well known for its Food Fair and Carnival Procession, both held in the Autumn. Flower Shows and Music in the Edwardian Park during the summer months.
