Information about the host

The Hume family lives with our Mum in the main house. We thoroughly enjoy welcoming guests from all over the world and have a genuine interest in ensuring people get the most out of their holiday/travels to our area. We have a great knowledge of things to do and good places to eat- so just ask. Dorothy (Mum or Granny) has a wealth of experience in providing accommodation for travellers to Inverness. She and Ian (Dad or Papa) owned a very successful hotel business in Inverness until their retirement when they began to offer bed and breakfast (BnB) in the main farmhouse. David and Maggie were regularly called upon to lend a hand in the hotel! Roddie and Charlie helped granny set the table for the BnB from the age of 2! Charlie has a great knowledge of whisky and loves to share this enthusiasm with you at your request. Roddie plays the bagpipes - not quite so eager to share this with you (he's shy) but if you ask you never know, he just might give you that early morning alarm call - be woken just like the queen!
