Welcome to Swan Lake Lodge, our chic New England-style lakeside retreat with plenty of room for 6. Located on Spring Lake, our lodge has prime position in the Cotswold Water Park. Like the name suggests, from the deck you can feed the resident swans & ducks that are very friendly. The pretty clapper board-style exterior & fantastic water-front setting make a brilliant first impression, whilst the convenience of the location within steps of a family-friendly lakeside bar, brasserie & gym come a close second. This contemporary & charming lodge offers light & airy accommodation with panoramic lake views from inside & out. Downstairs, its open plan living & dining area flows out onto a private deck via French doors – a perfect spot for alfresco dining or simply to sit back & enjoy lakeside life! There is also a fully equipped U-shaped kitchen & handy downstairs shower room. Upstairs a large master bedroom with a full length window affords stunning views of the lake, & there are 2 further bedrooms plus a family bathroom. Extra care has been taken for families here; you will find lots of special touches around the house if you are planning on taking the little ones.
Within a minute’s stroll is the Lakeside Brassiere with a relaxed family restaurant & lakeside terrace. A fully air conditioned gym is located above the brasserie. Within 50 metres of the lodge is a large children’s play area. Lakeside Ski & Wake offer wakeboard & waterski lessons, as well as fun rides for all the family on their ringos & inflatables - irresistible to most families in the summer months, from beginners to experts. Next to the house is a small shingle beach area popular with little ones for paddling. From the deck you can feed swans & ducks that are very friendly. Located opposite Spring Lake is the South Cerney Outdoor Education Centre which offers sailing, canoeing, paddle boarding & courses. Bike hire, angling & the biggest inland beach in the UK are all within 2 miles. The lodge is ideally situated for exploring the towns & villages of the beautiful Cotswolds, including Stow-on-the-Wold, Bibury, Bourton-on-the-Water & Moreton-in-the-Marsh. Cirencester known as ‘The Capital of the Cotswolds’, is 4 miles. Appealing to children, the nearby Cotswold Wildlife Park, the numerous attractions at Bourton-on-the-Water & Cotswold Farm Park provide plentiful entertainment.
