A working family farm just minutes by car from Newark Showground.Located conveniently just off the A17. There is plenty of parking secured by an electric gate.This comfortable and peaceful location offers guests privacy as the B & B is a separate building to the proprietors home.A substantial award winning breakfast sourced from local fayre will perfectly set you right for the day! Clare & John are experienced hosts with a wealth of local knowledge and will do their very best to help you. There are several good pubs all within a mile to enjoy your evening meal. A great location for exploring Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire with National Trust properties Belton House and Clumber park all within 20 minutes.

Clare and John look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to their family farm. Our Collie dog Gem will most definitely want to sit at your feet and seek your approval! Farm cats Smudge and Barbara will also be hoping to see you.Our Pets live outside as John always says if they come inside so will all the farm animals!! You will see our cattle grazing in the fields from April to October when the grass is at its best. We love walking, cycling, the theatre and music so are happy to recommend lots to see and do in Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire.

Ivy Farm is located on a quiet country lane which is only 1 mile from Balderton where you can pick up most things from an array of shops. There are several good pubs nearby all within a mile.The Willow Tree at Barnby. The Plough and the Inn on The Green at Coddington, The Chesters at Balderton. We are ten minutes from Newark and 25 from Lincoln, and Nottingham. So whilst staying with us you can explore history, sporting and mythical connections that the region has to offer - whether Robin Hood or Nottingham Forest!! We do have a couple of bicycles if you wish to venture out.We are perfectly place just off Sustrans route 64. If you wish to go for a morning run it is exactly 2 miles to the village and back!
