Breakfast will be included in the room rates but guests will have the option to enjoy freshly prepared picnics for enjoyment in the garden or surrounding countryside and three-course, freshly cooked evening meals. Situated within walking distance of several beaches, protected natural heritage land abundant with wildlife, the village of Crail, Crail golf links, and a vast array of Fife Coastal path walking and cycling routes, guests have much to enjoy on their doorstep.

As well as the neighbouring and historic Crail golf links, Kalliope House is on Fife’s golf coast with Kingsbarns links, St. Andrews Bay links, Castle Course Links, and St. Andrews Old Course all in easy distance. In addition to the opportunities of walking, golfing, cycling, bird watching, and picnicking, there are many other amenities to enjoy in the surrounding areas including site seeing some of Scotland’s great historic homes, museums, castles and town centres. In keeping with the Scottish fancy for a tipple, the newly opened Kingsbarns Whisky Distillery is just up the road and award winning Eden Brewery just outside of St. Andrews are both open to visitors seeking tips on the fine art of liquid refreshment! For the thrill seekers Fife’s coast has much to offer including open sea kayaking (classes and guided trips are available at Cellerdyke Harbour), para-karting/kiting at West Sands beach, and drag racing or go carting available on selected dates at Crail airfield. Fife’s coast and rivers are also popular fishing grounds. Award winning local seafood and a wide range of restaurants are available all year in Crail and surrounding coastal villages.
