Keith’s Kabin

Keith's Kabin is a stylish and comfortable lodge set in a leafy cul de sac in the beautiful setting of Percy Wood Golf and Country Retreat. Whether you want peace and quiet or active days out, there is something for everyone here. For those simply wanting to relax and recharge their batteries, the park is set in 180 acres of parkland, home to lots of wildlife, including roe deer and the elusive red squirrel. Keith's Kabin has got stylish open plan living and dining with a kitchen that is fully stocked with every appliance and utensil that you require for a home away from home. You have central heating and an additional fire, so it's an all year round holiday. There is a large flat screen Freeview TV and DVD player in the living room. There are three bedrooms, a double, one twin and one single bedroom with plenty of storage in each. Two bathrooms, with the double room having a 'Jack & Jill' door to access the shower room, which can easily be converted to an en suite, provides extra privacy. Walk out of the French doors in the lounge to a large wrap around balcony with ample outdoor furniture to sit back and relax and perhaps gaze up at the dark skies Northumberland is famous for.

We are so lucky to live in the beautiful county of North Northumberland with such easy access to the wonderful beaches and rolling hills so we spend a lot of our free time walking and hiking in our area. Travelling around the world to see other cultures, nature and landscape, is high on our list of priorities too. We hope that we have provided a comfortable space for you and your family to enjoy and that you will appreciate the peace and quiet of Percy Wood. Keith's Kabin is a non smoking self catering unit. However, we do like to get you started with a few essentials. We provide washing up liquid, tea towels, dish cloth and dishwasher tablets. We also provide a starter of tea bags, coffee and sugar and three toilet rolls per bathroom. A games compendium of over 100 games has been provided for your enjoyment. All bed linen and towels (one bath and hand towel per person) will be provided. As there is no shop on site, you will need to bring other provisions with you, although there are supermarkets in Alnwick, 8 miles away. There is no Internet in the cabin, but free Wifi is available in the coffee lounge at reception.

Located in Swarland, Keith's Kabin is within easy reach of the A1 and only 8 miles south of the beautiful market town of Alnwick, the home of Harry Potter at Alnwick Castle & Gardens. For walkers or mountain bikers there is easy access to the wild rolling Cheviot Hills. Stretching up to the Scottish Borders and beyond, you can enjoy the miles and miles of Northumberland's stunning beaches and historic stately homes and ancient castles. Cragside House & Grounds in Rothbury, Dunstanburgh & Bamburgh Castles, the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, the Farne Islands and Wallington Hall are all a short drive away.
