Key Farm House is listed grade 11* of special and historical interest. The house is built of local rubble stone (mostly rendered), with Ham Stone dressings. Features include ovolo mould and oak framed mullion windows with square leaded panes, many with head moulds. The east and north entrances have cambered doorways. Outside at the rear is a large, old timber framed Granary sitting on staddle stones. Key Farm House provides modern facilities whilst retaining its impressive features including flagstone and wooden floors, ham stone and cast iron fireplaces. There are lawned areas that can be enjoyed when the weather permits
Steve Beck, owner of Key Farm House on retirement in 2005 decided to share the house with visitors to the area requiring accommodation. It gives visitors the opportunity to stay in a very historic house whilst enjoying the beautiful surrounding countryside of Somerset & Dorset
