Information about the host

Kika's Cottage is part of an historic 17th century building in a lovely yard. It has it's own entrance and is self-contained and lovely and quiet though very close to the 'buzz' of Church Street. The bed is so comfortable it has had it's own star-ratings from guests who sleep so well here!

The photo is a current one of my husband, Ken, and I. We love welcoming guests from near and far and are always available for any suggestions, advice or help in any way.

The yard is in the historic old town on the east side of the river accessed by crossing the 'swing bridge' named this as it opens for river traffic close to high tide. The yard leads onto a cobbled street with many lovely shops (some quirky), selling gifts and jewellery, including our own black 'Whitby jet' and an eclectic mix of cafes and restaurants.
