Information about the host

We hope to provide a warm and cosy property with all the facilities that you need to make your time in Stirling a wonderful experience. Our home is equipped with a drying room and a safe, lockable area for pushbikes, fishing equipment and motorbike equipment. The drying room is there for walkers and bikers etc to hang up their wet gear, so that they can carry on their adventure as soon as possible. We are motorbike, walker, cycling, fishing and dog friendly, and there is also a safe area for parking your motorbike, off the road.

This is our first year renting out our cottage, and we have met such a wide range of interesting people from many parts of the world. We are so happy when someone leaves our property after having loved their experience in Stirling, then our job is done.

From our property you can walk to the Bannockburn centre and park, this is a national trust property and a well worth the visit, the park is great for walking dogs. Going straight out the back of the property and you are in the countryside in a very short space of time, there are many local walks, and it take about 30 minutes to walk into the heart of Stirling. Around us you have various local pubs within walking distance, and the Hollybank restaurant is only minutes away by foot, and proves to be very popular with our visitors. There are also a variety of businesses within our part of town, and all the services you could need, and Stirling centre is a fantastic place to visit with a wide range of shops, supermarkets, restaurants and bars. We provide detailed tourist information in the cottage, and a wide variety of books about local walking and driving routes etc. The top attractions in Stirling include the Wallace monument and Stirling castle and there is also some interesting museums and historic buildings.
