Lakeland Snug is a large en-suite king bedroom within the charming Howrah's Cottage. The accommodation has its own entrance within a private courtyard. The room includes a large wardrobe, comfortable seating area with two chairs, flat screen TV, mirror, fridge, and large luxurious bed, tastefully decorated and furnished with quality fittings throughout. The en-suite bathroom contains a toilet, sink with mounted mirror, heated towel rail and a superb power shower. The room has fully adjustable underfloor heating throughout. On your arrival there will be a welcome drink waiting for you in your fridge. We provide a continental breakfast as part of your stay with fresh local produce. Tea, coffee, sugar, fresh milk and biscuits are provided in your welcome hamper. All towels are provided including two dressing gowns. Free super-fast WiFi included as well as use of an Alexa Dot. We regret that we cannot accept any guests of the four legged variety! Please note the property, both inside and outside, operates a non-smoking policy. In view of the recent pandemic, we are operating contactless check-in and departure, ensuring extra sanitising of all areas between guest stays.

Lakeland Snug is nestled at the bottom of Latrigg, Skiddaw and Catbells mountains in the heart of the Lake District, sitting on the bank of the tranquil river Greta. We are situated on a private road within 2 minutes walk from Keswick's idyllic high street, with it's many lively bars, restaurants and quaint shops. There is private, off road parking for your car. The accommodation is accessed via your own private entrance, through a shared courtyard which contains a seating area for guests' use.
