Life Begins is a 2 bedroom brand new luxury lodge on the popular Sun Valley Holiday Park just 1 mile from the lovely village of Pentewan and 3 miles from the picturesque fishing village of Mevagissey. The spacious master bedroom has a king sized bed, triple wardrobe, dressing table and en-suite bathroom with toilet and wash basin. The twin bedroom has 2'3" beds suitable for children and one bed can be removed to make space for a travel cot (which is also available) The spacious lounge has two sofas, one of which converts into a double bed settee. There is also a separate bathroom with toilet, basin and double shower. The kitchen dining area is well equipped with built in microwave, dishwasher, washer/drier, oven/hob & extractor and full size fridge freezer. There is gas central heating throughout powered by a combination boiler which is located in the kitchen area. Bed lined is provided but please bring your own towels, tea towels and dishcloths. A selection of games, DVD's and books is provided which will be expanded as we visit. The 32" flat screen TV/DVD is connected to Freeview. Underneath this is a flame effect electric fire for cosy winter evenings.

Hi we are David and Allison Patterson. We live in West Yorkshire and have been visiting Pentewan for 6 years in out touring caravan at least twice a year. We have 3 grown up children and two small Grandsons who absolutely love to visit with us too. We have a small boat which we enjoy launching from Pentewan Beach and usually have successful fishing trips. (sorry not available for guest use but there are several boat rentals nearby) We find the locals to be extremely friendly and have made many friends. We decided on our 2nd trip this year to invest in this lovely lodge and hope you will enjoy it as much as we do. Although we work during the day we are happy to answer any questions you may have after 5pm and at weekends. We have tried to equip the unit with everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. If however you can think of anything that is missing we would like to hear your thoughts and suggestions. The staff on site and extremely helpful and will do everything they possibly can to make your stay a happy one.

The lodge is set in 20 acres of gently sloping parkland in the Pentewan Valley, near St. Austell, Cornwall. On site there is a lovely indoor heated pool, two tennis courts, a childrens playground and the very popular Rebellion bar and restaurant. Sun Valley Resort is the perfect base to explore the best of Cornwall. Ideally located in the middle of the south coast and our proximity to the Cornish coastline means that you are never far away from a beautiful beach or scenic coastal path. If you are interested in water sports Canoes, Paddle boards, wind surfers, boats etc are available to hire in Pentewan and many boat trips depart from Mevagissey harbour. Bike rental is also available from Pentewan village and there are many local cycle trails to explore. The Lost Gardens of Helligan is less than 4 miles away and the Eden Project is only 6.5 miles, both well worth a visit at any time of year. There are good public transport links with the nearest train station in St Austell and regular bus routes passing along the A390. Many leaflets are available from reception for a wide range of activities and places of interest for you to enjoy
