Aberdovey boasts its 18 hole championship Links golf course stunning beach and hill walks, and various water sporting activities such as paddle boarding, sailing, kite surfing and canoeing to name a few. Within the village of Aberdyfi there are numerous shops to browse, and why not enjoy a cool home made Ice cream from Angela & Martin Knox at the Sweet Shop on the seafront, and an hour or two of crabbing off the jetty with the family. There are tours of the estuary and beyond, organised by Dyfi Discoveries from the wharf buildings, from where you'll hopefully catch sight of seals or dolphins or various other sea life. There are chartered fishing boats from which you can try your luck at the local sea fishing.
