Loch Ness Lodge Hotel

In a beautiful, tranquil location in picturesque Drumnadrochit, beside one of the most famous and romantic stretches of water in the world, this traditional Scottish hotel dates back to around 1740.

Set in acres of woodland, the Loch Ness Lodge Hotel is 14 miles from Inverness. With walks and cycle trails to nearby Urquhart Castle, the hotel makes a great base from which to explore the Highlands.

The hotel is within the grounds of the Nessieland Castle Monster Centre, with facilities including a cinema, exhibition, coffee shop, loch cruises and a children’s activity centre.

This original Highland lodge is now a privately owned 3-star hotel offering rooms rich in character and traditional charm. Each en suite room has a telephone, TV and tea/coffee-making facilities.

With log fires, the Pibroch Bar and hotel restaurant offer traditional cuisine, including carefully prepared Scottish produce, from hill venison and lamb to salmon and mussels from the West Coast.
