James and Yasmin live in Rye with their two young children and will be on hand throughout your stay to answer any questions you may have or make recommendations. We own and operate 3 holiday properties in Rye and know the local area intimately.
'Home on the Strand' and 'Loft on the Strand', a pair of beautifully appointed holiday apartments in the historic town of Rye, East Sussex. Home on the Strand: Perfect for families or groups, with two bedrooms and a south facing garden. Loft on the Strand: A couples retreat with stunning views over the ancient town of Rye. Please note that Loft is accessible only by 3 flights of stairs, there is no lift. Lovingly renovated in 2020, On the Strand is ideally located on the edge of Rye, a short walk to the Town Centre and close to the station. Step out of the front door and discover the charming amenities of this ancient port; pretty streets lined with a wealth of shops, restaurants and pubs. Camber Sands is a 10 minute drive away, and can also be reached on foot or bicycle via a dedicated path. Each apartment benefits from a private parking space, a real rarity in Rye. Please note that children are welcome at Home on the Strand but Loft on the Strand is Adults only; the property is not suitable for children. The property is adjacent to a main road so there will be some traffic noise during your stay. The road is not busy at night time.
