This is a lovely warm and welcoming apartment in a quiet residential area of Edinburgh. It is the ideal place for experiencing the real Edinburgh while still being very near the city centre. Family groups, groups of friends, business travellers and children have all enjoyed staying at our apartment. It is very child friendly & if required we can provide a baby's travel cot at no extra cost.
I love travelling and experiencing new countries and cities. It's an especially good experience when I can meet people who live there who will share their knowledge of their place with us. Edinburgh has so much to offer all kinds of travellers and it's wonderful to have a place where people can stay to enjoy the city with its varied attractions.
This area is in central Edinburgh and is a very interesting neighbourhood - in part lively & peaceful with lots of quirky & historic points of interest. As a visitor you will feel like you are experiencing genuine Edinburgh life! Within easy reach of the apartment are some of Edinburgh’s top attractions, the two below are very nearby ….. **A 10 minute walk takes you to the Botanic Gardens with over 70 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds and a stunning array of plants in its Victorian glasshouses. The new visitor centre has a cafe and a top class restaurant. **The apartment is on the route of the Water of Leith Walkway .. a beautiful walking path along the river with access to such attractions as the Modern Art Gallery and interesting historic areas of the city for example Stockbridge and Dean Village. The route can be followed to the waterfront in Leith in one direction, or to the city centre in the other. There are two easy routes to walk to the centre of town - both of them passing interesting shops and upmarket restaurants and bars on the way. One route leads you to the centre of Princes street, the other to the theatre district at the top of Leith walk.
