Hi, Krissi here - A little about us...... I was born and raised in the seaside town of Portstewart (20 minutes drive approx). My Career however took me to England where I worked as a Radio Presenter for a few Commercial Radio Stations in the East Midlands and eventually moving to the BBC In Shropshire where I stayed for 13 years before retiring. I still volunteer on two internet radio stations. I have wanted to have my own B&B since I was 12 ! ( Yes, really) ! So at the age of 65 (yes, I know....lol) I decided it was time. My husband Chris was happy to move as he wanted to slow down a bit towards his retirement and he just loves the laid back life style and the beaches so close by that we go twice a week (whatever the weather) to walk with the dogs.
Our guests like to stay with us because after a busy day seeing all the attractions and (quite a lot of walking), they tell me that they like to come "HOME" to Longview House to relax and chill. If the weather is kind you can sit outside and admire the view. If it's NOT so kind, then you can curl up in front of the log fire with hot chocolate and marshmallows ! MMmmmmm. Ballymoney is also the home of the famous Dunlop family (Motor-bike road Racing) and the Memorial to 3 of the Dunlop boys, is just two miles from Longview House, in Ballymoney which also has a host of Independant shops. We are also perfectly placed for 11 Game of Thrones filming locations, the Thrones Door tour and the Causeway Coast, yet only 18 miles from Ballymena for a bigger shopping experience. Belfast is less than an hour away and trains run regularly from Ballymoney and it's free to park at the Station. Belfast is under an hour away.
