A well-appointed 3-bedroom townhouse on a residential street, close to the heart of the ancient Roman city of Chichester. A mixture of smart design, a huge living space and quirky style make Longwall House an excellent base to explore this fascinating, vibrant part of West Sussex. Entering through the front door, you are immediately drawn to the vast open plan living area of the sleek modern kitchen and dining room with wood burning stove. This in turn leads through the bifold doors at the rear, opening the full width of the house into the enclosed sculpted garden. The well-equipped kitchen includes a range cooker, American fridge-freezer, breakfast bar and a seating area by the bifold doors. The entrance hall also leads you to a second sitting room; with a log burner and TV it is a perfect cosy spot when the nights begin to draw in. The first floor features two spacious king-size bedrooms, and a unique and cheerful family bathroom with a claw-foot bath and large shower. The second floor offers a twin bedroom with WC and a great vista over the rooftops, and a lovely view of the cathedral spire from the landing.

Parking is straightforward just 3 minutes away in the large Cattle Market pay & display car park that lies behind the flint wall at the end of the garden. With ample parking available, there is also a bustling market held here every week. Chichester is one of the most preserved Georgian cities in the UK largely contained within a city wall that is particularly picturesque around the cathedral gardens. The cathedral is an imposing building in the heart of the city centre and its origins date back over 900 years. To the south of the city is Chichester Harbour, an area of outstanding natural beauty consisting of tidal inlets and quayside villages such as Bosham and Itchenor. It is perfect for both water sports and enjoying the abundance of wildlife across the harbour. To the north, The South Downs are two miles away with the famous Goodwood Racecourse sitting atop and looking down on the city. The South Downs National Park stretches over 100 miles in total from Beachy Head through to Winchester.
