With a hot tub in the property's own walled garden, Lower Barns Guest House is the ideal place to enjoy tranquility under the stars. Other rooms have unique features including a sauna or a fireplace.

Each elegant suite is individually decorated with vibrant colours and bespoke furniture. All rooms have luxurious duckdown duvets and soft cotton sheets, as well as garden views, a flat-screen TV, and en suite bathrooms.

Lower Barns Guest House serves a hearty breakfast each morning, with food made from local ingredients. Food is served around a huge dining table in the conservatory overlooking the garden. Evening meals are based around rustic home-cooking, and can be provided if booked in advance.

With free Wi-Fi and free parking on site, Lower Barn Guest House is only a 20-minute drive from Truro. St Austell can be reached in 15 minutes’ drive.

The lush lawn with colourful flowerbeds, lanterns and wooden flowers, and the trees blossom with candyfloss pink flowers in the spring. Hugged by private courtyards, luxurious Hiding Places - Nook and Cranny - pop with colour and character. Blending eye-catching design with luxe, cosy comforts, such as a dive-into-me bed, woodburner and retro fridge, these gorgeous spots beg you to relax, unwind and indulge. The Hideaway offers colour and romance in abundance; there’s a super king-size bed, a slipper bath and even a gypsy caravan in the private garden. This is a hidden gem for intimate weddings. The ‘Wed Shed’, offers a unique spot to take your vows. With a beautiful mural on the wall beyond and the scent of flowers filling the air, it makes an extraordinary, soul stirring backdrop for a ceremony.

Building Lower Barns has been a labour of love for us over the last 18 years. From all our travels, we have pulled together an eclectic mix of designs and colours blended with our love of all things Cornish. Having created this magical space we decided to invite guests to share our home. We have a great love of people, food, design, gardens and anything artisan and unique. We always try to exceed our guests expectations and create memories to last forever.

On the South coast of Cornwall where roads give way to country lanes and beaches, spectacular coastline and pretty fishing villages, you find Lower Barns. Close to Lost Gardens of Heligan, Eden Project, beaches, harbour side villages, the Roseland Peninsula, half an hour from the north coast and surf. Lands End is an hour away by car.
