There are many attractions nearby, from historic buildings to target shooting. There are a number of beaches, the closest is Hastings but there is also camber sands, Winchelsea and Eastbourne all within an hours drive. Indoor swimming pool is within 4 miles. Beauport is a beautiful, tranquil park, more like a little village, as everyone has their own well kept gardens, and it's set within a forest, so plenty of walks right on your doorstep.
