From the moment you step into the grand entrance hall and see the traditional tiled floor, you know you’ve arrived somewhere a bit special. This house has been recently completely refurbished and effortlessly mixes modern luxury with traditional style. It’s the perfect retreat away from Bath city centre, but still with easy access into the city. The sitting room is sumptuous and cosy, perfect for relaxing after a day of shopping or sightseeing. The kitchen-dining room calls out for groups to gather and enjoy a celebration. All modern conveniences have been thought of, and the property still retains a period feel that’s right for Bath. The master suite is incredibly spacious and roomy, with a stylish marble en suite bathroom and views over green countryside. The second bedroom also features a king-sized bed which can be split into two singles, as with all the beds in the house. The third smaller room on the first floor is quiet and comfortable with a view over the neat garden below. The attic beholds a generous family-sized bathroom, as well as a generous double room – also with a king-sized bed. The attic also looks onto the countryside opposite.

Stourton View is a stone’s throw from the beautiful Bath Skyline National Trust land, as well as walking distance (across fields) to Bath University. It’s a short taxi ride or bus into the city centre, and a short drive also to stunning scenery on the south side of Bath, with Sustrans’ Two Tunnels walking and cycle track and the Kennet and Avon canal also a short distance away. At the Dundas Aqueduct (a 5 minute drive) you can hire rowing boats and kayaks and discover the canal by water. Stourton View is a short distance from the A36 in the direction of Warminster, just off Claverton Down Road.
