Beautifully designed and spacious apartment in the heart of the city. With very rare secure parking, elevator and iconic location in the 'Quartermile', this apartment is ideal for any type of stay in Edinburgh. Incredible park views, 2 bathrooms (1 ensuite) and a wonderful open plan kitchen/living area. Within close walking distance to all Edinburgh main attractions and easy links to the airport and train station. The apartment is professionally cleaned and sheets/towels laundered. If you would like to bring a pet, there will be an additional deep cleaning fee. Incredible views over the meadows park from the open plan living/kitchen area. Quartermile was originally known as the Old Royal Infirmary hospital for Edinburgh, but now after a complete redevelopment it is a luxurious conversion of apartments, restaurants and offices all located in Edinburgh’s Old Town. The Meadows park is set right in the heart of the area, with large open parks, tennis courts, children’s play grounds, a croquet club and recreational sports pitches. Various events are also held within The Meadows throughout the year. There are an excellent range of local amenities within Quartermile; including banking, bars, and bus services, not to mention rich history as it is a short stroll from the Royal Mile, the National Museum of Scotland, the intellectual delights of the National Library of Scotland and the theatres of the West End. Getting around Simpson Loan is really central, you can walk to every attraction within 15-20 minutes. Both Waverley and Haymarket train stations are only a short walk from the apartment. If however you wish to explore a place further from the city centre the bus stop is only minutes away from the apartment with good connections to Portobello beach, the Zoo, Craigmillar's Castle or Blackford Hill.
