A cosy stone cottage located in the very heart of Cartmel, just a 2-minute stroll from the medieval village square. Maggie Puddle Cottage is a beautiful old stone cottage that has been sympathetically updated and modified to offer a luxurious place to stay for us and our guests. My husband and I fell in love with Cartmel around seven years ago and have been searching for the perfect holiday cottage ever since. We found Maggie Puddle Cottage in 2018 and knew it was perfect for us.

Cartmel Village is located on the southern edge of the English Lake District. A Hidden gem of fine dining, retail therapy, gorgeous scenery, incredible walks and the finer things in life. Cartmel is famous for its sticky toffee puddings and home to Simon Rogan's Michelin Starred restaurants, L' Enclume and Rogan and Co. Cartmel Racecourse is popular and a wonderful place to visit during race meetings.
