Our house is a late Victorian , semi detached property in a leafy road in suburban South Liverpool. Our family live in the main part of the house and the apartment for rent is completely self contained , with a separate entrance . It's classed as a basement flat , but has garden views at the front and is accessed via stone steps

I'm a lecturer in art and textiles and have lived , studied and worked in Liverpool for almost 40 years ! This has been our family home for 17 years and we are quite keen gardeners and home renovators

Our neighbourhood is a quiet tree lined street , close to the river . We have a garden you are welcome to use and an area alongside the flat for parking . Travel to the city centre and to and from the airport is easy . A taxi is approximately 8.00 one way , and a bus service runs from the top of the road about 3 minutes walk away . A train also goes directly to the city centre every 15 minutes ( every 30 off peak ) and the station is a 7 minute walk away. We are close to Sefton Park ( amazing Victorian palm house and lake ) and also Lark Lane , a vibrant area with cafes, bars and restaurants .
