Melkington Lodge is a Grade II listed detached cottage offering recently renovated accommodation for up to four people in the grounds of a countryside farm estate- it is a truly special space. Located in the quiet countryside of Northumberland, with Berwick Upon Tweed and the Scottish Borders on the door step, we know guests are going to really love the area. Inside the property is furnished to a high standard with all modern facilities. All the accommodation ground floor including the two spacious bedrooms. One double and one twin room with en-suite shower room. The double bed can be converted to single beds if preferable. There is a beautiful and bright lounge with a real fire and cosy interior. Wifi connection is strong and the fully fitted dining kitchen has all required amenities. We would also be happy to arrange for a cot or high chair should you plan on taking your little one! There is a family bathroom with both bath and overhead shower, as well as a useful utility room, perfect for outdoor guests! There are a number of super nearby pubs and a great restaurant within a few miles of the lodge. Northumberland is popular for it's stunning coastline and breathtaking walks and we always recommend guests take a visit to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne and Bamburgh Castle.
