The farmhouse, stables and outbuildings are an intriguing mix of Tudor, Georgian and Victorian architecture, set in mature gardens and farmland. We offer 4*en suite accommodation with healthy, freshly prepared and beautifully presented food. All rooms are well decorated with original art, we offer a cafe and attractive meeting spaces, with free parking in a highly accessible location right in the centre of Wales. As well as the galleries we are the home of Sculpture Cymru, the Association of Sculptors in Wales, our outdoor Sculpture trail consists of over 100 original pieces set in beautiful countryside. We are 500 yards from the River Severn with fishing rights for 2 rods. We are on the National Cycle route and welcome cyclists and walkers.

Cathy Knapp, widow of international artist Stefan Knapp set up Mid Wales Arts in 2008. To provide a home for a core collection of his large scale, vibrant enamel on steel murals, sculptures and paintings. Since then MWA has become a hub for artists throughout Wales who appreciate the exhibition space, location and facilities. We have a purpose built studio, offer artists residencies, residential and day art courses in pottery, enamelling, blacksmithing, sculpture and painting. We have a performance space for poetry, music and dance.

We are a 7 minute walk from Caersws mainline station. National Express buses and local buses are close by. We are an ideal location for exploring beautiful mid Wales with it's lakes, rivers and mountains. Nearby attractions: Red kite centre, Powys Castle, pony trekking, fishing, rally school and shooting.
