Boasting a rural position within the Arnside & Silverdale AONB within the grounds of the owner’s home is our all ground-floor property, located at the tip of the Lake District National Park. The house is surrounded by fields with easy access to walks, breath-taking scenery and interesting wildlife. Fully equipped Kitchen, microwave & dishwasher. There is a super-king-size bed, which can be altered into twin beds on request. En suite shower room, Open plan lounge, dining & kitchen. Free WiFi

We are semi retired and own 3 holiday let’s 2 in the U.K. and 1 in Cyprus. We enjoy walking & exploring in our beautiful location, cooking and travelling. We opened our first holiday let Elysia Park Retreat in Paphos Cyprus in 2012 we then opened Jackdaw Quarry Retreat in Capernwray in 2018 before opening Milos Retreat in 2019. We pride ourselves on the standard of our properties and our key aim is to ensure our guests enjoy a stress free holiday in beautiful surroundings. Each of our properties is beautifully furnished & equipped to a high standard.

Milos Retreat is located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there are walks in every direction from the doorstep. The property is in a quiet location on a country Lane surrounded by fields & open countryside. A 15 minute walk will take you to the estuary & beach a further minute walk and you will be in the lovely coastal village of Arnside which has a small selection of shops, cafes, pubs and a lovely coastal walk. Further afield is the beautiful village of Cartmel home of the famous sticky toffee pudding, Newby Bridge where you can hop on a steamer and cruise across Lake Windermere or visit Kirkby Lonsdale to enjoy a river walk, lovely shops, bars & restaurants. One of our favourite places is Grange over sands which is easily reached by taking the train from Arnside across the estuary. The Yorkshire Dales can be easily reached from the cottage & Bowness on Windermere is a 30 minute drive. The cottage has a great selection of books, maps and information on local walks and activities.
