Boot trays for muddy boots. Kitchen unit with built in sink, microwave and full size fridge. Fully equipped . Toaster, Kettle ,Coffee Machine,Egg Poacher. INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF THE STUDIO SUITE A Welcome breakfast Hamper with all you need to prepare a breakfast at your leisure a packed lunch or light supper. We also offer a Room Service Menu if you prefer the traditional cooked breakfast option to order and delivered to your suite. ONE COMFORTABLE DOUBLE BEDROOM at the rear of the house. En-Suite bathroom with bath and overhead shower. (This room we offer on a room only basis single or double occupancy. Hospitality Tray with some complimentary extras. ) Option to purchase a Grab & Go Breakfast Bap. There are 3 pubs in the Village serving food at lunch time and evenings The Crown Inn which is just over the road also do hot take out home cooked meals, the local deli The Bake Well sell all manner of pies quiches salads and home cooked take away meals. We care about your sleep at Milton House, after all the clue is in the name!.All our rooms have blackout blinds/curtains. Luxury organic mattresses/ mattress toppers hand made by skilled craftsmen at Abaca Organic in West Wales using natural materials such as wool, latex and cotton. We make sure crawling into bed feels just as good as it does at home. All rooms are centrally heated with room-controlled heating, little extras to make sure you remember us as being a comfortable safe and flexible place to stay. Here in Askrigg we’re a little bit hidden and that’s just how we like it. Our claim to fame is that our little village starred in the orriginal hit BBC series All Creatures Great and Small which celebrated the work of James Herriot-very fitting given our location is right at the heart of Herriot Country!

Milton House Bed and Breakfast is located in the heart of the village , a village shop with tea room , a Deli selling take away meals and cakes and three cosy Pubs and Restaurants all a short stroll from our property. Private on site parking and lockable garage for cycles or motor bikes. There are some fabulous walks near by , local waterfalls. Askrigg is a popular base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales, with the Herriot trail , Lady ann way and Pennine way popular walks with our guests.
