Situated in the beautiful hamlet of Marygate in the centre of The City of York our 17th-Century Guest House is charming and unique. Next to The York Art Gallery and The Museum Gardens with views of nearby York Minster we are ideally placed for exploring the city. Our beamed Guest Lounge stocked with home made goodies is the perfect environment to relax when you need a break from the hustle and bustle.

The Minster Walk Team strive to offer a unique and enjoyable stay. With specialist locally sourced produce along with cakes and goodies made in house at Minster Walk for our guests to enjoy we are focused on offering something a bit different. We are happy to say we have eliminated single use plastics in our toiletries and support Fair Trade organisations where possible.

We are lucky to be in the centre but tucked away in a quiet setting with the River 2 minutes walk from our door for stunning strolls or boating adventures.
