The bright rooms at Monks Cleeve have traditional, country-style décor with white fabrics and wooden furnishings. There is free WiFi, a flat-screen TV, tea and coffee-making facilities and a private bathroom. You will receive tea and cakes on arrival.

An English breakfast is prepared using locally sourced produce. The property opens onto a pretty garden and you can also relax in a pleasant, shared lounge area.

The surrounding heather moorland, rivers and valleys are ideal for walking, fishing and horse riding. Full livery can be provided for your horse upon request.

Exmoor Heritage Coast is a 25-minute drive from Monks Cleeve, while Exeter is just over an hour’s drive away.

Situated a quick 5 minutes walk from the village centre Monks Cleeve looks out across Exford and has stunning views across to open fields and moorland. Quiet and comforatable, a delightful home from home experience. All rooms are en suite and two have both a bath and a shower. Set within 4 acres, there is room to walk around our fields or just sit in the garden and watch the horses or chickens. Having lived in the area for over 10 years we have an excellent knowledge of all the local areas to visit and see
