Information about the host

- This very small cabin is perfect for two people, it is self-catering and a great base for touring the Lochalsh area and the Isle of Skye. - Please note 'the cabin is located in the garden, in close proximity to our house' (B&B). - From the French doors you will have spectacular uninterrupted views over Loch Duich and the hills. - The cabin has a studio layout (no separate bedroom), the sofa / daybed makes up into two single beds, please note 'one mattress is floor level'. - The open plan area also has a kitchen with fridge / freezer, oven / micro / grill and a gas hob. There is also a lovely shower room, with walk in shower cubicle. - There is also a small decked area with seating and in the garden a table for eating outside (includes use of the barbeque) from the decking area and the garden you will overlook Loch Duich and the surrounding hills.

- We are both retired from our careers in 2017, me, from working 35yr in the care sector, initially as a nurse and latterly in the social care sector within senior management. Danny worked 35yr in the oil industry, as a commercial diver and latterly as a commercial dive supervisor. - I now run our B&B and cabin from Mon-Fri, over the tourist season, Apr-Oct and Danny works at Eilean Donan Castle, as a tour guide, 3 days a week from Mar-Oct.

- We are perfectly situated just a very short walk (3 minutes) from the Kintail Lodge Hotel, which offers a cooked breakfast, lunch and evening meals. - Eilean Donan Castle is only 6 miles (10 minute drive) and the Skye bridge is 16 miles (20 minute drive) from the cabin.
