A Welsh stone holiday cottage set on the banks of the tennant canal experiencing peace and tranqulity, with swans, ducks and geese as your neighbour as they live on the canal outside your front door. A renovated stone cottage fully refurbished and modernised to a 5 star standard and is pet friendly Consisting of -Ground floor Entrance Hall - with coat hooks.Living Room/ Dining Room: with fireplace. Oak Kitchen : with all the amenities. Fully tiled bathroom with bath and shower. First Floor Bedroom 1: with twin beds, wardrobe and dressing table. Bedroom 2: with double bed, wardrobe and dressing table. Outside : Rear fully enclosed garden /courtyard with patio, to the front secured with railings and gate overlooking the canal. Parking: Cars can stop outside to unload , then proceed to the end of the lane were there is a small shared private parking area Electricity, central heating and WiFi included. The cottage is close to the M4 so it is a central place to explore all that south wales offers. Beautiful walks are situated outside your front door, the river neath is at the end of the road were you often see fishermen, if you enjoy fishing you can fish on the river or on the canal bank and the heritage site of Aberdulais Falls which is in the care of the National Trust in recognition of the sites value as a key part of the regions industrial heritage is 2 minutes walk away The Canalside is a beautiful area popular with walkers and dog lovers but close enough to call into Swansea and Neath.There is a spar shop 5 minutes walk away, and the British legion is situated at the end of the road on the bank of the river serving food & drink with a beer garden and Thai restaurant just around the corner. There is a Golf range with restaurant within 5 mins walking distance. There are many activities and places to eat out The Gnoll Country park with its 3 beautiful lakes is a lovely place to walk or cycle. Afon Forest Park with over 40 acres of natural beauty a great place for cycling, pony trekking or mountain biking. Dan yr Ogof caves, the black mountains and many beaches are close by.
